The eye-widening reason why kids in Japan are showing up to school wearing eye patches has been revealed, and no, it’s not just a kooky fashion trend  — it’s pinkeye. Even worse? According to reports, it’s pinkeye they contracted after having someone lick their eyeball. Apparently eyeball licking is totally a Thing in Japan now, and considered the next base after French kissing.
